We spoke with Rebecca from Edie & Ivy Flowers and Sandy the photographer about their inspiration!
What was your inspiration for the Salt lake photo shoot?
Edie & Ivy Flowers: Our Inspiration was a raw and natural feel, to celebrate fierce femininity.
We wanted to contrast the harsh elements and the pastel and soft tones of the bouquet and the dress, with some bold statements like the pops burgundy in the bouquet and the models matte burgundy lipstick
What made you choose bold dramatic flowers?
The bouquet is a textured and unstructured style, with traditional and boho fusion of David Austin roses, orchids, pampus grass for that delicious fluffy texture and those divine burgundy amaranthus, for a pop of drama and contrast
The photographers style is unique, tell us a bit about yourself?
Sandy: Hi I’m Sandy… a keen photographer that considers myself extremely lucky to live in a beautiful part of Australia, Perth, home to soft sand beaches and scenic parks. I love capturing candid shots of little ones to grown ups! If I’m not out shooting and meeting amazing people, then you will find me chasing around three energetic children.
